1. Introduction

Welcome to WeDance ("we," "our," "us"). By downloading or using our app or platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. WeDance provides both a mobile application and a ticketing marketplace where event organizers ("Organizers") can sell tickets to attendees ("Buyers"). Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

2. Intellectual Property & Restrictions

You are not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, or attempt to extract the source code of the WeDance app. The app and all intellectual property rights related to it belong to Laurent Tram. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, translate, or create derivative works is strictly prohibited.

3. Role of WeDance

WeDance acts as a marketplace connecting Organizers and Buyers. We do not sell tickets, organize events, or process payments directly. Payments are handled through Stripe Connect, with funds going directly to Organizers.

4. User Accounts

• Organizers must create a Stripe Connected Account to sell tickets.
• Buyers may need to create an account to purchase tickets.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Payment Processing

• Payments are processed through Stripe Connect, with funds sent directly to Organizers.
• WeDance deducts a service fee from each transaction, as specified at checkout.
• We do not handle refunds, chargebacks, or disputes; these are the responsibility of the Organizer.

6. Event Cancellations & Refunds

• Organizers are solely responsible for refund policies and handling refund requests.
• Buyers must contact the Organizer directly for any refund or dispute.
• WeDance is not responsible for issuing refunds under any circumstances.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

• Any chargebacks or disputes are between the Buyer and the Organizer.
• If a chargeback is filed, Stripe may deduct the disputed amount from the Organizer's account.

8. Fees & Commissions

• We charge a service fee for each ticket sold, deducted automatically by Stripe.
• Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use our platform for fraudulent, illegal, or misleading purposes.
• Sell tickets for events that violate any laws or regulations.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

10. Limitation of Liability

• WeDance is not liable for any event cancellations, financial losses, or damages arising from ticket sales.
• Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the service fees collected from your transactions in the last three months.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes details on data collection, processing, storage, and your rights under GDPR. By using WeDance, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. App Usage & Security

• You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and not jailbreaking or rooting your device.
• Certain app functions require an active internet connection. WeDance is not responsible for issues caused by lack of connectivity or battery depletion.
• The app may use third-party services, which have their own Terms & Conditions:
  • Google Play Services
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics

13. Updates & Termination

• We may update the app and these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance.
• We reserve the right to discontinue the app or platform at any time, with or without notice.
• If the platform or app is terminated, all rights and licenses granted to you will cease, and you must stop using the app.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. Updates take effect upon posting.
